About the Event
The Greener Tomorrow initiative is a community-driven tree plantation event aimed at rebuilding biodiversity and combatting the rapid deforestation in the Modhupur region.
Over the past decade, Modhupur’s forest edge has suffered heavy degradation due to logging, farming, and urban expansion. This event brings together local volunteers, students, NGOs, and eco-conscious citizens to plant 5,000 native trees in a single day—creating lasting environmental impact.This isn’t just about planting trees. It’s about protecting wildlife, purifying air, preventing erosion, and preserving the planet for generations to come.
What’s Included
- Tree saplings (Mango, Jackfruit, Neem, Mahogany & local species)
- Free lunch and water for volunteers

Objectives
- Restore degraded land through afforestation
